Coupons

I have started to "coupon". My original inspiration was the TLC show Extreme Couponing, but I am fully aware that I will not go to the lengths that the people on the show did. However, I am saving our family so much money now that I am using coupons on a regular basis.

I don't have and pictures to show you of my "finds", but the other day I saved $53 dollars on a grocery bill that started out at over $100!

I have been using The Krazy Coupon Lady method for couponing and I have been using their system. I can show you a picture of the binder I started to organize all of my coupons.

I am not going to make this into a coupon blog, but I want to stay true to what s current in my life. This is the whole reason I started this blog to begin with.

    Oh my goodness - you are soooo rubbing off on me. I have started a nice coupon collection in several catagorized envelopes and saved $29.69 off of my hundred dollar grocery bill at safeway yesterday. I like the idea, but I don't like the time it takes to plan the shopping trips. Going to have to talk to you about ways to organize things that are a bit easier and don't leave me standing in the middle of the grocery isle for half an hour searching in my envelopes for that coffee coupon that I just know I have somewhere...

    We will have to set you up with a binder. It is so much more accessible.
