So once again I have been lacking when it comes to my blog. As much as I try, I really think I am a once a month kind of girl. Sorry :(

This was a busy month for us.

Little E bridged up from being a Tiger Scout to being a Wolf Scout.



J went camping with her Girl Scout troop.




Big E has started his high school football career with football camp.





Big E is #28.

There was the annual Cool Desert Nights car show and slow drag. We got a few pictures of our favorite cars.






So far the summer is shaping up to be great!

Memorial Day 2010

This year we went camping over Memorial Day weekend. We had the. best. time.

Big E was pleasant and agreeable and helpful.



Little E had a blast!



J didn't want to leave Monday morning she was having such a good time.




I think it is safe to say we will be camping a lot more this summer!

Family pictures

Yesterday we had our family pictures taken by a wonderful photographer, Andrea Stovern. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, just that I didn't want run of the mill pictures. Andrea met us a local park by the river and she was amazing. She was able to get my 3 kids to smile every time!

She emailed me last night with a sneak peak. I will have the rest of them later this week. So now I am showing you a sneak peak. Let me know what you think.

Summer is Coming!

Mother of the Year

Yesterday we were at a BBQ at the park. The kids were off playing and the adults were hanging out. Little E was on the swings and got the bright 7 year old thought of jumping off the swing to get down.

Next thing I know he is crying and saying "ow". Ben and I checked him out and he was fine. He could move all of his fingers, he could move his arm. The rest of the time at the park he complained that his arm was hurting and me being the "mother of the year" kept telling him that it was fine.

After we got home and he was in the shower, he kept complaining that his arm hurt. I told him it would be fine. He went to bed and was still complaining about the pain. I started to get upset with him and told him that it was enough. He was fine and needed to go to sleep.

3 hours after he had fallen asleep he was crying out in his sleep that his arm hurt. I went into his room and he was still sleeping! I gently woke him up and asked him where it hurt. Little E told me his arm was hurting "really bad".

We went to the hospital.



It is a broken wrist.
