Christmas 2010

This year was amazing! To start it off we had our friends Christmas party on the 23rd.

On the 24th we went to my parents house. It also happened to be my Daddy's birthday!

After my Daddy opened his presents we had Christmas. I didn't get a lot of pictures as I was busy opening and watching everyone else open their presents.

After we went home, changed into our new jammies and set out milk and cookies for Santa.

This is a picture of after Santa came and before the kids got up.

(sorry bad cell phone picture)

You may have noticed that our tree is not just bursting with presents read why here.

The big gifts from Santa this year were
Big E - new touch screen, slide out, camera phone
trying to get that kid to put a shirt on let me tell ya!

Little E got a remote control monster truck!

J got an "American Girl" doll

I have mentioned it before and I will mention it again. I LOVE that Ben's mom comes over and stays the night Christmas Eve. I love that she is there when the kids get up to open their gifts from Santa. She is such an important part of our lives and we are so grateful to have her!

After a big breakfast it was time to go to Poppy's house.

This was one of the best Christmas' we have ever had.

From our family to yours I hope you had a very merry Christmas!

We've Been Busy

This is going to be a long one so settle in and get ready.....

To start things off we had some snow. I'm sorry, I mean we received A LOT of snow! I love it! The kids were so happy! The snow even came before Thanksgiving!

A very happy and very sad day all combined happened. My oldest turned 21. He is amazing. It is hard for me to comprehend that it was 21 years ago that I had him. Now, he is not a big drinker. When I asked him what he wanted for his birthday he didn't have any idea. I asked him if he would like a party and he wasn't too thrilled. Until I told him that he didn't have to drink if he didn't want to and we would do all of the drinking for him. That idea he liked.

After a while he decided to try a little something. We had a great time!

The next weekend we decided to take the little kids to see Santa's reindeer.

We also went to my favorite Christmas store.

J and I went to the Nutcracker with her Girl Scout troop.

Our little town had a lighted parade.

I was able to have coffee with two of my oldest and best friends. We don't get to see each other as often as we would like. Love you girls!

Well there is 2 weeks left of 2010. They are going to be great!
