Parties,parties & more parties

We seem to have birthday parties to go to at least every other weekend. This weekend we went to a Star Wars themed party. The kids had a great time. The parents went all out! Our friends Perry & Justin were up for days making all of the decorations.

They made an R2D2 with realistic sounds

They made droids with motion and sound

They even wore authentic costumes

They even went as far as to make costumes for all of the kids. They made armor for their arms and legs and every child had a mask which made them all look amazing!

They also made a (almost) life sized sand tank kind of thing. I'm not really into Star Wars, but this was impressive.

I wish my pictures could have come out better.

Busy, busy, busy

Things have been so busy lately I haven't had time to post in a while. I haven't forgotten about my wonderful little blog. I just have been so busy. We are looking into finally buying a house. This process is very time consuming and work has been crazy. I will post again (with pictures) when things calm down some.

Friends are like Family

We have a wonderful group of friends that we consider family. We are very close with all of them. We have been friends with them for a very, very long time. Our children are more than friends, they are family. We all treat each others children as if they were our own. We love them the same, we discipline them the same. We go to each others events. We are there for each other more than words can express.

Last night we had a get together and got to hang out with all of them. I love them so much and am so lucky to have them in my lives. Thank you guys for always being there for me. I love you!!

Birthday Party Sunday

On Sunday we had 2 birthday parties to attend. Unfortunatly they were at the same time.

J was invited to a classmates party and Big E & Little E were invited to a party for one of our best friends.

J was so excited to go to her classmates party so we opted to do both.

Ben took the boys to our friends house and I took J to her party. We only have one camera so it went with me. I got some really cute pictures of her and her friends.

The party was at a gymnastics gym. They all had such a good time. The party was so well organized. I think we might have Little E's party there this year.

Dogs should act like dogs

We have 2 dogs, Annie & Flash. Flash is a Basset Hound and Annie is a Basset Hound/Chocolate Lab mix. We love them. They love us. The odd thing is that Flash seems to think she is a cat. A very big, very long cat.

She likes to get up on the back of the couch, spread out and go to sleep. She will lay there for hours (if the kids leave her alone). She is also the nosiest dog I have ever seen. If she hears a car outside she will jump up on the couch and look out the window. If we have the blinds closed she will nose her way in between them to look outside and see who is here. She cracks me up.

Here is a picture of Flash up on the back of the couch (pretending she is a cat).

I am also including a picture of Annie because she is so cute.

Bedtime Fun

Tonight we were sitting around the house as a family watching Jon & Kate + 8 (we love that show). As I said we were watching as a family and I decided to take a few pictures of the kids.

Big E hanging out on the couch.

Little E sitting by him.

J wondering what I'm doing.

Then she had to ham it up for the camera once she realized what I was doing.

I love them so very much!!!

The Gangs All Here

Yesterday we were enjoying a lazy Sunday afternoon. Little E had a friend stay the night and we were hanging out in our jammies for most of the day. I had decided t0o let the kids have a after lunch snack of Skittles. I gave them each a small bowl and let them eat them in the living room while we were watching movies. J then looks at the small amount in her hand and tells me "look Mommy the gang's all here!"

I love the things that come out of their mouths!! This is a great age and I am dreading them growing up. :(
